More Vacation Pictures

We have spent the last few days enjoying the beach here on our vacation. We are enjoying beautiful weather and fun times. We have settled into a little routine that seems to be working quite well. The kids get up early and head out to the beach with Papa to set up the tent and go for a walk on the beach. They usually return by 8 AM and we all make and eat breakfast together (except Josh who hasn't quite made it out of bed in time to join us yet).

Then we all get suited up and head down to the beach. Dad/Papa usually takes the kids to swim in the pool while the rest of us sun bathe and play in the waves. Late in the morning, one of us takes Caleb and sometimes Libby back to the condo to take a nap and have an early lunch. The rest of the family usually arrives for a late lunch and then a nap or another walk. Then we make dinner, clean up the dishes and head out for a final walk on the beach. We put Caleb down to sleep and wait about a half hour for him to fall asleep and then Libby goes to sleep. We spend the rest of the evening watching TV, playing card games, challenging each other to games on Josh's Nintendo Wii, reading, and catching up with friends at home on the phone or online. Here is the link to the latest pictures that we have posted online.

Vacation

Here we are at Myrtle Beach! We arrived yesterday evening. Our trip turned out to be 2 hours longer than we expected, so we were very happy to find our condo and get settled. Mom and I ran out to the grocery store to stock the fridge as soon as we arrived. Everyone went to bed late. The kids did amazingly well on the 13+ hour trip. They watched all 6 movies that we brought for them on the little car DVD player that Papa had set up for them. We are sad that Nathan could not make the drive down with us, as he is staying home for a 2nd job interview tomorrow afternoon. We are hoping that the interview produces a new job for him, but either way, we are excited for him to join us tomorrow evening. Great Papa Rohr will be flying in this evening as well, so we will have a housefull pretty soon.

The kids went out on the beach early this morning with Papa and Grandma. They had an awesome time and absolutely loved the waves. Libby got knocked down by a large wave and was submerged by the next wave. She had a little tantrum right before I took these photos and refused to look at the camera. She seems to be over it this afteroon. Both Caleb and Libby are in the pool right now with Grandma and Papa. Here is the link to the pictures we took this AM. I will be adding to this album as we take more photos.
