I realized this week that this will be the first Father's Day for all of us without Grandpa Andy. I just want you to know that we are all thinking of you and we love you lots, even if we don't say it often enough. Thanks for all the things you've done for us over the years, especially working long hours to pay the bills and put us through school. I will grudgingly admit that maybe you've earned your retirement after all. Maybe, if you ask really nice, Mom will do the driving for you on Sunday. :)
We wish we could be there for the family reunion with everyone this weekend, but we are thinking of you. Be sure to eat lots of food for me, 'cause you know I like to over-eat at family gatherings (a particular lobster feed a few years ago comes to mind. Ahem!). Say "hi" to everyone and give Grandma a hug for me. Happy Father's Day!
